Frequently asked
The things we hear most often at the counter at Best Value Weed, grouped by topic. If yours isn't here, call us — the phone is the fastest path to a real answer. For deeper reading, check our guides library, see hours on the visit page, or head straight to the dried flower menu.
Visiting us
No. We're walk-in only and there's rarely a wait. If you do want something reserved for pickup, a quick phone call works.
We're open 24 hours a day, seven days a week — including statutory holidays.
Two free 30-minute spots right in front. For longer stays, the municipal lot on Collier Street (one block north) is a two-minute walk and free after 6pm and on Sundays.
Yes. Step-free entry at the front, wide aisles, and a lower counter section. If you'd like curbside service, call from the car and we'll come out.
We scan your ID once at the door, and then you chat with a budtender at the counter. Tell them what you like or what you want to feel — they'll walk you through a few options at your budget. No pressure, no upsell.
Ordering & pickup
Yes — we keep a current list of dried flower, concentrates, and accessories on this site. Inventory rotates weekly, so if something specific matters, call to confirm it's in stock.
Absolutely. Call (437) 889-1446, tell us what you want, and we'll have it pulled and ready at the counter. You'll still need to come in and show ID — Ontario doesn't allow us to hand off outside.
No. We're in-store only. We'd rather keep our prices honest than add a delivery operation that bakes courier fees into the flower.
Until close of the same day. If you can't make it, call and we'll hold it until the next day at no extra charge.
Products
It's our internal shorthand for quality tier — based on trim, cure, density, terpene profile, and test results. Not an industry standard. We apply the same criteria to every batch so you can compare apples to apples across brands.
Everything on our shelf comes from AGCO-licensed producers, so yes — Health Canada testing is mandatory for potency and contaminants. Certificates of analysis are available on request.
Most of what's on shelf is packaged within the last 60 days. Package date is on every jar. We don't buy stale, discounted stock to fatten margins.
Provincial rules mean opened cannabis can't be returned. Unopened product, defective accessories, or a clear manufacturing issue — bring it back with the receipt and we'll sort it out.
Payment & ID
Cash, debit (Interac), Visa, and Mastercard. There's an ATM inside if you need cash. Tap payments work.
Any government-issued photo ID: driver's licence, passport, Ontario Photo Card, Canadian Forces ID, or Permanent Resident card. It has to be unexpired.
19 or older, per Ontario's Cannabis Act. No exceptions — not even to browse. We ID everyone at the door.
Cannabis basics
Less than you'd think. For flower, a very small amount of a lower-THC strain is a sensible starting point. Wait 15–20 minutes before more. Edibles: 2.5 mg THC, and wait a full two hours before considering another dose. Tell us at the counter and we'll point you at beginner-friendly options.
Traditionally, indica is described as relaxing and sativa as energetic, with hybrids in between. The honest answer is that terpene profile and individual chemistry matter more than the label. Tell us what effect you want — we'll pick based on the actual batch.
Airtight, dark, cool (not cold). An opaque glass jar with a humidity pack is ideal. Out of reach of kids and pets — a locked drawer or cupboard. Avoid fridges and freezers; they dry it out and break off trichomes.
